we have been bombarded by the percepts of science that the universe is nothing but physical particles in motion. but in our institution we know differntly,namely that the universe is sacred.
many have scummed to the pressure of science and its simplisitic views. some have not.i belong to latter category.i have always felt and known that the universe is beautiful and mysterious.
i dont have any quareel with the view that there are physical entities and phenomena. so what? they are minute and dumb, while i m trying to understand different things, such as:who am i? who r u?what is the meaning of exsistence?
yes, it must be admitted that, after the onslaughts of science, we cant assume that the universe is sacred. we must find a new justification for this.the old justification, as based on god and religions,are simple out of question.we need to search deeper.
in my search, i found a new answer,which is light itself. why is light the answer? because of its peculiar nature. if and when u convince urselfthat light is a source of everything- then it becomes quite inevitable to consider light as miraculous. thus the nature of light predisposes the universe to be sacred.
i m aware that i dint provide a scientific proof for the sacredness of the universe. nor did i mean to.i dint feel compelled or obliguedto follow the scientific dogma that everything must be prooved scientifically.
i ve been doing something esle. i ve been pointing out at the glory, majesty and might of light, while it has been costructing the universe,and while it has been bringing about the human mind. surely an architect capable of such achievements is worthy of being called a sacred being.
